3.3.5. View Web Analytics Reports

SharePoint 2010 introduces a service application that tracks Web application–level statistics that are stored in SQL Server so they can be easily accessed using different reports. Figure 40 is a summary report for a specific date range. This particular report contains five columns of information, but if you want to see a different type of report, click a report option on the left, where you can select from report layouts, including some that contain graphs.

3.3.6. Review information management policy usage reports

The Information Management Policy Usage Reports page includes the settings shown in Figure 41. You can use the options on this page to set Information Management policies such as audit reporting and retention. When you enable these reports for a specific Web application, the reports will be generated in the location you specify, and there will be a separate file for each site collection. You can also specify a custom reporting template to be used when viewing the reports.
